Gentle nervous system support • Fully clothed sessions • All ages welcome

Healing begins when the body is allowed to flow.

With my 35 years of experience in Body Work, my practice supports the body’s natural intelligence through the gentle, transformative principles of Spinal Flow. The focus is on identifying physical, chemical, and emotional blockages so the nervous system can reorganise and make space for healing.

About the practice

With 35 years of experience in Body Work, healing here is approached as something we allow rather than force. As a Spinal Flow Practitioner, the work centres on identifying physical, chemical, and emotional blockages that interrupt the body’s natural intelligence. Through the 33 access points of the spine, chronic tension is softened and space is made for the Spinal Wave to move through the body.

This approach blends the clinical precision of Body Work with the gentle restorative nature of Spinal Flow Technique to help regulate the nervous system in real time. Whether someone is experiencing chronic pain, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, the work focuses on finding the access points that reconnect them with their own innate healing capacity.

What is Spinal Flow?

The Spinal Flow Technique is based on the 7 Gateways of the spine and the 33 access points located around the coccyx and cranium. Founded by former Chiropractor Dr. Carli Axford, it is designed to help identify and release physical, chemical, and emotional blockages stored in the body. Through light contact on the spine, a healing wave may be created to encourage the brain to reorganise the spine and nervous system, improve the flow of essential nutrients, and reduce stress.

May support the body in adapting better to life’s stresses
Encourages wellbeing and improved regulation
Can help increase energy and support healthier choices
Regular sessions may support spinal and nervous system healing
Recommended as an initial 12-treatment package depending on individual needs

Spinal Flow may be able to help with:

Reflux, bowel problems, anxiety and stress, lack of energy, depression, asthma, sciatica relief, pain relief, infections, difficulty sleeping, blood pressure issues, and feeling sluggish.

What happens in a session?

Practitioners may observe three types of wave responses during a session, including a somatopsychic wave moving up the spine, increased breath, and internal sensations such as tingling described by the client.

What to expect during your visit

Sessions are designed to feel supportive, calm, and easy to prepare for.

Health history Before your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive history covering past and present illness, injuries, symptoms, and relevant lifestyle information.
Dress Both the initial assessment and Spinal Flow sessions are performed fully clothed in the attire you arrive in, so there is no need to change clothes.
Clothing note Please avoid denim and clothing with large seams if possible, as these can interfere with access to key points on the body.

Bio

Spinal Flow practitioner

Healing is a conversation between your brain and your body, but sometimes that line is busy. After my 35 years of teaching mind-body modalities, I have found that Spinal Flow has become the most direct way to quiet the stress signal and allow the healing signal to take over.

Using gentle touch at key access points, sessions are intended to help transition the system from survival to flow. This work is not about forceful manipulation. It is about embodied mindfulness in action, releasing the accumulated layers of stress so the body can do what it was designed to do: heal itself.

“It’s not about force. It’s about making room for the body’s natural intelligence to return.”

The work combines gentle presence, refined body awareness, and a grounded understanding of spinal and nervous system patterns. Each session is held as a space for reorganisation, regulation, and reconnection.
